Ever since my sophomore year in high school there has been someone who writes my phone and says nasty things to me. Even as recent as July 2016. They say things like "you've gotten so fat," "you would be cute if you had longer hair again," "you're only cute because of your hair," amoungst other negative comments about the way I look but you get the idea. Why don't I block them? Well, because they switch their number throughout the year but based upon the language they use I know it's the same person.

I can't express how important it is to make sure that you are whole, know who you are, and that you realize that someone else's opinion of you, especially someone who doesn't REALLY know you, doesn't matter when you know that you bring the table to the table. Always work toward making yourself better as a person and better as a woman (or man). As long as you know there is someone watching you, because bullies/haters are always watching, make sure that you are embodying someone positive they can model themselves after. Lets be real, whomever the person is, is only saying the things they are saying because you embody something they wish they had. Give them someone great to keep up with.

Lastly, I want to encourage everyone to be kind to one another. You never know what someone is going through internally or in their personal lives. There were plenty of times when this person (I still don't know who it is) sent me mean messages during times in my life when I was dealing with some very negative things. You never know what people have to deal with so be kind or just don't deal with that person at all. Uplift one another, focus on your focus, and always strive towards being the best version of yourself you can be.
