TGIF: A Little Reminder

I've come to find that every now and again you need a little reminder. A little reminder that things are going to be o.k. A little reminder that you're stronger than you think. A little reminder that what you are going through won't last forever, you CAN get through it. You WILL get through it. The last week and half I have needed that 'little reminder' myself. I share the most beautiful parts of my life and the things that I love in hopes that they will inspire others. I'm learning that inspiring others isn't just about sharing the beauty in life but also the ugly. Being real. Letting people know that you are human, things aren't perfect, you go through things like anyone else but be an example of how you can go through hard times but come out better than you were before. What we need to understand about hard times is that they are inevitable. Hard times are necessary in strengthening our faith and in order to mold us into the people we are meant to become. Over the last week and half I have heard about multiple deaths of old grade school and high school classmates (one in particular that's very heart breaking), on top of other day to day struggles I am dealing with at the moment. Emotionally I am drained. But I write this to tell anyone out there going through hard times, emtionally, mentally, financially and any other struggle that you are having that it is going to be ok. Pain is temporary. I can't promise the struggle will be short. It may last a few days, it may last a couple of years but eventually it will end. It will be over and there will come a point when you understand  why God allowed you to endure what you went through. My advice to you is to simply get through it. Take things one day at a time. Pray over it, have faith, focus on your focus and always keep the bigger picture in mind. Allow yourself to melt down then pick yourself back up and hit the ground running. Always remember, while it may not seem like it now, it gets better....It gets greater, later. Trust the process.
