Military & Spring Vibes
This Easter was amazing. I spent time at church listening to a WONDERFUL sermon, eating, playing games and laughing...lots of laughing with my family at my grandmothers house. She cooked everything under the sun! (Hints the strict diet I started this week) I opted for a more casual look this year. After my brother's visit last week it's obvious where my inspiration came from. I purchased this a-line military inspired green skirt recently from Banana Republic (similar here) and I LOVE it! Sunday I paired it with a floral top from Target to make it Spring appropriate (I am aware the shirt is plus size & I'm not, so I tried it in an xs & it fit fine, I didn't mind the extra room), nude strappy sandals from Aldo (alternative here) and a nude studded clutch (similar here) from Aldo as well. What I love most about this skirt is the versatility. You can dress it up or down, wear it in the winter or summer. I can't wait to style it with flat sandals or wedges and a crop top this summer or a turtle neck and thigh high boots this fall. Basically what I'm trying to say is, this skirt is the s#!t.....Anyway, I hope your Easter was as great as mine was and you spent some needed time with family and friends. Expect more frequent post starting.......now. I mean you get back what you put in after all. Talk with you soon!
